SANTA is on his way to visit children in Bradford on Avon and the surrounding villages - despite the Covid-19 pandemic.

Bradford on Avon Lions Club say they are determined to keep to their annual schedule of visiting the town and local villages to raise funds between December 7 and 19.

A spokesman said: "Although the Lions Club won’t be knocking on doors this year Santa will still be visiting all of his usual stopping places to see the children.

"Santa wants to make sure that everybody is safe in these difficult times. Please observe social distancing and please don’t touch the sleigh.

"Santa won’t be giving out sweets this year but will try to put an extra one in Christmas stockings!

"Lions rely on kind donations from the public to be able to support so many good causes in our local community so please support us if you can by making a donation."

You can donate on line at www.gofundme.com/boalions/ or
