A property owner has won a High Court challenge to force the planning inspectorate to reconsider his scheme for a new home.
Following the challenge to the planning inspector’s decision to uphold Wiltshire Council’s refusal to grant permission for an existing annexe at Providence Cottage, Brinkworth to be converted into separate accommodation, the court has ordered the appeal to be redetermined.
This means that a new inspector will be looking over the appeal.
Additionally, all comments made when the bid was first put in and when the appeal decision was made will be reconsidered.
The unitary council refused plans for the annexe stating a lack of range of services, employment and public transport in the area.
