A cancer counselling charity is setting up a new service for Chippenham.
The We Hear You group has been given a grant of £6700 from Chippenham Borough Lands Charity.
It provides emotional support to patients, families, friends and carers in Wiltshire who have been touched by cancer or any other life-threatening conditions.
The funding will go towards covering counsellor fees, room rental and utilities costs.
Melissa Hillier, Director of We Hear You (WHY), said: "We're delighted to have received this grant from Chippenham Borough Lands Charity. Like most charities, the pandemic is having a huge impact on our community fundraising income, so grants like this are more important than ever.
