A FAMILY is appealing for help to trace an attacker after a man was assaulted and robbed outside a cash point in Trowbridge on Friday evening.

Craig Rose, who is in in his 30s, was knocked unconscious and robbed in Frome Road at around 8.10pm on Friday, October 23.

Police said: “The man had withdrawn money from a cashpoint before he was punched by a man who made off with the cash.

“The suspect is described as white, with dark hair, aged in his late 20s and slim to athletic build. He was wearing a dark hoody and a black face mask.”

Mr Rose’s brother posted a message on social media saying: “My brother has been attacked and robbed tonight at approximately 8.15 opposite the Ship pub.

“He’s had all his money stolen and has been knocked unconscious. If anyone knows who this person was or witnessed anything please contact Trowbridge Police.

“The attacker was wearing all black with a white and black scarf/bandana around his neck. Someone must know who this person is. Please do the right thing and contact the police.”
