A RETIRED Trowbridge man took his life in a country park after his depression was accentuated by the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown.
Kevin Dallimore, 67, was found in the Biss Meadows Country Park on Friday, July 17 after being discovered at 10.25am by a walker in the park.
The resumed inquest in Salisbury heard that Mr Dallimore was certified dead by a paramedic who attended the tragic scene.
Mr Dallimore, of Woolpack Meadows, Trowbridge, suffered from a depressive disorder which had been accentuated by the Covid-19 lockdown.
Wiltshire & Swindon senior coroner David Ridley said the onset of this depressive episode more likely than not contributed to his actions earlier that day.
The coroner returned a verdict that Mr Dallimore had taken his own life.
