Children have been getting up close and personal with bugs and microbes in Calne.
They have been taking part in nature activities run by Microbz at Spirthill learning about the role that microbes play in life and on the planet.
Microbz is a small company which produces a range of probiotics for health, household, garden and animals,
Dig & Delve are based in the Cotswolds and run outdoor workshops for clubs, home schooling and parties.
Rowan Wynne-Jones from nature education group Dig & Delve is leading the lessons:
"These workshops are all about being confident in nature and learning how nature provides for and looks after us especially in these differing times as we turn to alternatives for inspiration," she said.
"For instance a virus doesn’t flourish in a healthy natural environment so being outdoors in nature is the safest place you can be."
Next sessions are on October 25, where pond dipping and leaf art are on the agenda, followed by fungus, lichen and moss on November 22.
