Pewsey Parish Council has arranged a green clothing recycling bin in the village.
It is outside the public toilets in the North Street car park.
Proceeds from the donations will go towards the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
The council says the bin is for the use of people in the village, requesting that folk use it responsibly - reminding them that will be cctv monitored.
A council spokesperson also said that a date is being arranged for a visit to the village from the Prospect Hospice donation van.
It is due on November 16, also at the North Street car park.
