Three youngsters from Staverton brightened up a drizzly day on October 3 by holding a fundraising bake sale to raise money for NHS Charities Together. Felix Berry and Daisy Knight , both 12, and Thomas John, 13, had been so inspired by the efforts of NHS staff throughout the pandemic that they decided to hold a cake sale at Staverton Village Hall to show their appreciation. In spite of Storm Alex, the trio were delighted by the support and generosity they received and together they raised a hefty £330 in total. The money will be donated to NHS Charities Together and help to provide more and better services to patients suffering from a wide range of illnesses and conditions.
