The son of a celebrity chef breached court bail conditions when he went to his dad’s hotel to pick up his pocket money, a court heard.

Marco Pierre White Jnr, 25, admitted twice breaching magistrates’ court conditions stopping him from going into the main building at his father’s Rudloe Hall Hotel, Corsham. He denies stealing a £40 phone from the hotel’s former manager, Jonathan Peek, on March 31.

The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant was readmitted to bail on Wednesday afternoon after a district judge at Swindon Magistrates’ Court heard the complainant in the theft case no longer worked at the hotel.

Prosecutor Emma Charleton said Pierre White Jnr had gone to the hotel bar on October 3 to ask for a can of Coke. Mr Warden, now manager of the hotel, told him he was not allowed in the main building.

Two days later, on October 5, Pierre White Jnr was back in the hotel. He approached Mr Warden to ask for his pocket money. The hotel manager replied that he was not allowed his pocket money on that day.

Emma Thacker, defending, said her client had been asked by his father to start working in the hotel kitchens, doing the breakfast stint in order to earn his pocket money.

On October 5 he had been asked by his father to go to the hotel to collect his allowance.

Appearing in court via a video link from Gablecross police station, Pierre White Jnr, of Leafy Lane, Corsham, admitted breach of bail.

District Judge Joanna Dickens released Pierre White Jnr on bail with a condition not to contact Jonathan Peek and live and sleep at the hotel. His trial is listed to take place on December 16 at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court.

He thanked the judge, saying “thank you, perfect, perfect” and added: “You’re amazing, thank you.” Pierre White Jnr also thanked his lawyer before leaving the police station video link room.
