Fire catches trees

THREE crews from Corsham and Chippenham attended a fire involving grass cuttings, a BBQ, a small shed and two large trees at a domestic property on Box Hill. Crews extinguished the fire using one main jet and one hose reel jet. The incident happened at 1.17pm on Friday alongside the A4 near Box House.

Person locked in

A FIRE crew from Devizes attended an address in Flax Mill Park where a person was unable to leave their property due to a failed lock. They made entry to the property and the occupier was then able to arrange for the lock to be replaced. The incident happened at 12.18pm today .

Fire in the open

A FIRE crew from Cricklade attended a fire in the open involving a skip in Upper Minety and extinguished it using a hose reel jet. The incident took place at 3.08pm today.

False alarm

A CREW from Warminster responded to an alarm activation in a residential property in Portway, Warminster, at 9.59am this morning. Fortunately this was a false alarm and no action was necessary.
