DRIVERS have been urged by police to avoid the Hilperton area this morning after a two-vehicle crash led to huge traffic queues.
Traffic backed up as far as the Kings Arms on the Staverton side of the village.
A Wiltshire Police spokeswoman said: "At 8.20am this morning we received a call about a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Elizabeth Way, Hilperton, Trowbridge.
“Officers are currently at the scene and traffic is building up in the area, so we would urge people to avoid the area."
It is understood that no-one involved has been seriously injured. Police and ambulance crews are attending the incident.
