Devizes case of alabama rot confirmed
DEADLY dog disease Alabama Rot is back in Wiltshire as there has been a reported case of the illness in Devizes.(not pictured)
It brings the total number of cases this year to 44 in the UK.
The incurable disease, which is very rare, blocks and damages blood vessels in the skin and kidneys.
In March this year, a dog died from the disease in Chippenham.
This latest case is one of three reported. the other cases are in Moreliegh in Devon and in Epsom in Surrey.
The exact location of the Devizes case is currently unknown but has been confirmed by specialist vets Anderson Moores.
