The parts of Oxford worst impacted by the recent rise in coronavirus cases in the city have been revealed.

An online map, which is part of the Government's coronavirus data dashboard, shows where positive cases have been in recent days divided by 18 areas.

Each have a population of approximately 7,200 people.

It is based on pillar 1 and pillar 2 testing data from Public Health England and covers the period of September 8-14.

In Oxford, the most cases during this period where in Cowley North.

- Cowley North 10

- Oxford Central 5

- Churchill 4

- Summertown 3

- East Central Oxford 3 

Other areas in the city like Headington, Cowley South & Iffley, and Marston have recorded between none and two cases. 

Small cases are grouped and not individually indentified.

As of 9am on Friday, the city has 1,104 cases, with no new cases confirmed by Public Health England in the last 24 hours.

A further 10 cases were recorded during the same period across Oxfordshire.
