CHIPPENHAM based Community Fitness Instructor, Sheila Copeman is celebrating delivering over 200 online classes since the start of lockdown.

She set up her Facebook group ‘Sheila’s Positive Workouts’ to help clients keep physically and mentally fit during lockdown. She delivers live classes Monday to Friday.

Sheila has also taught her usual Zumba Gold and Fitness Pilates on Zoom maintaining a strong community connection.

"My Zumba Gold classes have been a lifeline to some of her clients during lockdown as it has given them an uplifting connection to the outside world, especially to those living alone," she said.

During the first month of Zoom Zumba Gold classes she raised over £1,200 for 4 local charities.

They include Dorothy House, Salvation Army (foodbank) Chippenham, Alzheimer’s Support and Forever Friends RUH Bath.

She will also be hosting a Virtual MacMillan Zumba and Coffee morning on September 18.
