Planning applications decided on by Wiltshire Council

Chippenham: A rear extension at 7 Matford Hill has been given the go-ahead following a successful planning application by Neil Flemming.

Chippenham: Planning approval has been granted for a single-side and rear extension on Deansway.

Mr Darren Chitty of 14 Deansway was given the planning consent to carry out the works.

Chippenham: The garage at 16 Blackwellhams has been given the green light to be converted into habitable accommodation thanks to an approved planning application by Gardiner.

Chippenham: Helena Taylor has been given reserved matters approval for a development comprising the construction of 19 dwellings with associated infrastructure, landscaping and parking at Land at North Chippenham, Hill Corner Road and West of A350.

Chippenham: The Church of St Paul in Malmesbury Road is due to replace it's existing oil boiler extracts with a newer boiler, as well as additional flues.

Chippenham: An application to install post mounted customer information screens at Chippenham Station and associated works between platforms one and two have been granted approval.

Lacock: Planning permission has been refused to Mr Blair Sailes. Mr Sailes had applied for permission to build a new two-level agricultural building at The Coach House in Notton but was denied by the council's planning officials.

In their decision letter, the planning officer said: "It is considered that the due to its size, scale, design and landscaping, the proposed development would be harmful to the setting of the neighbouring listed buildings within the traditional rural landscape."

Kington Langley: Mr and Mrs Livock have been granted planning permission to demolish the equestrian building at Limetree Farm in Middle Common and construct three dwellings in its place.

Nettleton: Mr Nettleton of Red Roof applied for permission for the construction of an oak framed garage with a storage room above. The application was approved.

Devizes: Listed building consent has been given to Mark Bouch and Joanne Heath for a number of works at their 2 Lansdowne Grove home.

One such work will see the pair filling the old well on the property, as well as the void between the extension on the building to provide foundation support, future-proofing the extension against further settlement.

Melksham: Mr & Mrs Stevens of 21 Union Street have been granted planning permission for a conservatory extension at the rear of their home.

Melksham: Mr A Noakes has been given planning approval to build a new dwelling and alterations to 26 Kenilworth Gardens.

Broughton Gifford: Mr and Mrs Chippendale of 22 The Street applied for a change of use from agricultural to residential for the land at the back of their property. The application was approved.

Bradford on Avon: Planning permission has been given to Mr and Mrs Bougeard of 2 Orchard Gardens to build a single-storey rear and side extension, as well as approval to remove a side-wall at the property.

Corsham: Land North East of Westwells in Neston will soon see the building of a house as well as the associated works following a successful planning application by Mr S Yarworth.

Trowbridge: Mr and Mrs J Mckenna of 72 Victoria Road have been given the green light to convert their garage/ outbuilding to a sitting room with glazed link from the main house.

Wingfield: Mr and Mrs R Fear submitted an application to convert and adapt the existing barn at Arnolds Hill Farm in Arnolds Hill to form two holiday lets.

The application was approved with the conditions that the properties are used for holiday accommodation only. The planning officer wrote: "Which shall not be occupied as permanent, unrestricted accommodation or as a primary place of residence."

The officer added that an up to date register of names and main home addresses of all occupiers shall be maintained and shall be made available at all reasonable times to Wiltshire Council.
