A charity has had to make the decision to temporarily pause its donation stations for the second time.

This follows an overwhelming number of donations of items given to Prospect Hospice over the last few weeks.

Victoria Canavan is the head of retail, she said: “When we opened our donation stations back in June we had no idea how well they would be supported and it’s been heart-warming to see just how much people want to support the hospice at this time."

The hospice’s distribution centre team is now working hard to sort through all the donations received so far and get these out to the charity’s shops around Swindon and north east Wiltshire over the coming weeks.
