A pair of bouncers have denied attacking a squaddie outside a Wiltshire pub.
Appearing before Swindon Crown Court yesterday, Ben Clough, 27, of Sambourne Gardens, Warminster, pleaded not guilty to wounding with intent and a simple wounding charge.
Co-defendant Darren Ford, 48, of Chalford Gardens, Westbury, denied assault causing actual bodily harm.
It is claimed they attacked a soldier in the Scottish Regiment outside the Old Bell pub in Market Place, Warminster, on August 16 last year. He suffered a broken arm, it is understood.
Judge Peter Crabtree bailed the men to return to Swindon Crown Court on November 30 for the trial. The case is expected to take up to five days.
Clough and Ford were represented by Edward Hetherington. Colin Meeke appeared for the Crown.
