Emergency services were forced to close a busy road after a three-vehicle crash.
Two people have been left injured after the smash on the A596
It happened yesterday just before 12 pm and involved an Asda delivery van, a Land Rover and a recovery vehicle with a car on the back.
The A596 was closed for about three hours while police carried out an investigation and recovered the vehicles.
The crash happened close to the High Scales turn off.
Officers closed the road from Wigton and traffic was diverted.
The route finally re-opened at about 2.30pm.
A spokesman for the police said: "Officers were contacted at 11.41am to a three-vehicle road traffic collision on the A596 near Aspatria.
"Involved in the collision was a Mercedes Sprinter van, a Land Rover Freelander and an Iveco Breakdown truck.
"Two people have obtained minor injuries."
