A man has been charged following an accident in which a Mini Cooper left the road and plunged off a bridge over the River Avon.
A police spokesman said: "Police were called shortly after 7.30pm on Saturday after reports that a Mini Cooper had left the road at the site of a bridge over the River Avon between Sutton Benger and Christian Malford.
"The driver, a 41-year-old man Mark James Davies, from Swansea, has been charged with failing to provide a specimen of breath. He has been bailed to appear before magistrates on 11 November 2020."
