PUPILS at Preshute Primary School have said their fond farewells as Summer term ends.

The Year 6 children were sent off in style with a variety of events, including a ‘Festival Day’, when children came sporting face glitter, wacky hair and full festival outfits to set off the celebration vibe.

Staff and children enjoyed a day of games, dancing and ended the afternoon with a ‘Colour Run’.

The children have all received a Leavers Book, full of photos and memories as well as videos of their Leavers Service and celebrations to share at home with their families.

Once the Year 6’s had said their farewells, Preshute were then able to invite all children back to attend a transition session on the School Field, where they could chat to their classmates, say goodbye to their class teacher and get to know their new teacher.

“It was so wonderful to have our smiley, happy children back in school,” said Deputy Head, Mary Mundy.
