TWO men have been charged following an attempted robbery at a Devizes petrol station on Thursday.
The incident took place shortly before 9.30pm at the Esso Garage on The Nursery – no-one was hurt and nothing was stolen.
Samuel Sneyd, 34, of Waiblingen Way, Devizes, and Adam Ferrell, 32, of Rawlingswell Lane, Marlborough, have both been charged with attempted robbery and possession of a knife in a public place.
Both have been remanded in custody.
The garage was cordoned off for some time during the police investigation late on Thursday evening.
