The A420 has been closed in both directions after what is believed to be a fatal crash in the early hours of this morning.
The Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was attending the incident near Faringdon and Buckland.
The road has been closed since 3am and is expected to remain shut until lunchtime.
Thames Valley Police has confirmed the road is closed and officers are on the scene.

In a now deleted tweet Oxfordshire councillor Liam Walker said: "Due to an earlier fatal incident at approx 3am involving a lorry and a car the A420 at Buckland remains closed in both directions until about lunchtime.
"Our thoughts are with those involved and with the family who have sadly lost a loved one."
