Everyone is invited to take part in a sponsored walk to raise money for homeless young people.
Between July 20-25 friends Gordon Pope and Matthew Sleap will be completing a 30km ramble to raise money for the youth homelessness charity Step by Step as part of its fundraising week.
The charity, which provides accommodation to prevent homelessness, counselling, training and life skills development, operates across six counties in the south of England with supported lodgings across Wiltshire and in Swindon. Members of the public are invited to join in with their own sponsored walk of any distance and location to help raise money for young people facing homelessness.
Matthew said: “This will be a great opportunity to highlight Step by Step in the community and raise funds for accommodation and wrap-around support so desperately needed by young people.”
“We’re raising funds to prevent homelessness among young people locally,” said Gordon. “Please support us every step of the way!”
