TODAY we’re proud to bring you the faces of just a few of the babies born to Gazette readers over the last weeks in lockdown. The arrival of a new baby is so special, we know it's been really hard for people not being able to share their joy with friends and family. We hope to be able to feature more of your stories: to send us your new bundle of joy’s picture and details go to gazetteandherald.co.uk and fill in this form.

The Wiltshire Gazette and Herald:

Leighton Phoenix Riches took mum and dad Leah and Michael Riches by surprise when he arrived on June 12 at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon, weighing 5lb - as he was not due until July 23. Leah said: “He decided he wanted to come six weeks early making him our third boy to be having a birthday in June. Brodie will be eight on June 25 and JJ will be a year old on June 30.” After a period in the Special Care Baby Unit after birth, he was able to go home to Calne meet his brothers, and sisters Grace-Amelia, five, and Kyle, four, for them to celebrate Father’s Day.

The Wiltshire Gazette and Herald:

Baby Patrick Robert Maybery turned out to be rather a large bundle of joy when mum Emmalee Wright delivered him at the Chippenham birthing centre on June 15, weighing in at 10lb 4oz. Patrick has now joined dad, also Patrick Marbery, at home in Chippenham with his siblings, Aimeelee, Danny-jay and Sophie Rose

The Wiltshire Gazette and Herald:

George Bishop was born just as lockdown started, on March 28 at Bath RUH, weighing 6lb 5.5oz. Mum Hayley says he is her miracle baby, as she was told she only had a 10 per cent chance of conceiving. Mum and baby are doing well at their Calne home, and Hayley would like to thank everyone at Chippenham birthing centre and all the midwives at the RUH for their amazing help and support.
