THE Swindon Library and Information Service is beginning the 2020 Summer Reading Challenge next Monday.

This year, the challenge will include a range of online fun for children and their families to take part in. Families can register and set their own challenge by visiting summerreadingchallenge.org.uk and selecting Swindon from the drop-down menu.

There will be audiobooks, digital magazines and comics on the website as well as live storytime sessions every Tuesday at 11am on the Swindon Libraries Facebook page.

new videos with demonstrations and live story-telling will be put up on the Swindon Libraries YouTube channel throughout the summer holidays.

Children and parents can let others know what they have been doing during the challenge on the blog at srcswindon.wordpress.com

Illustrator, author and Swindon Libraries children's patron Steve Antony will be running his annual art competition and will be judging the creative entries he receives over the summer months.
