The following planning applications have been decided upon by Wiltshire Council recently.

Brinkworth: Three holiday lodges are due to the built on at the Woodbridge Park Golf Club in Swindon Road following a successful application by Mr Kane of 7 High Street in Highworth.

Brinkworth: A planning permission has been granted to Mr and Mrs Newborough of 1-2 Hardwick Farm Cottages in Old North Road, Great Casterton to convert Whitegates in Callow Hill, Brinkworth into two dwellings.

Steeple Ashton: Mr Petrie of 3 Bartletts Mead submitted an application to reduce a corkscrew willow tree by 50 per cent. The application was met with no objections.

North Bradley: Mr and Mrs Hawketts of 2 Ireland have been granted planning permission to build a two-storey extension and double garage with alterations and associated access works.

Trowbridge: Black Swan Investments Ltd of Jayne House has had planning permission granted for minor amendments to a ground floor fish and chip shop with provisions of a new two-bedroom flat over at 1 Islington.

Trowbridge: Plans submitted by Mr Coxhead of 85 The Down to build a rear single-storey extension to enlarge the living room in his home have been approved.

Calne: Mrs Robinson of 21 Anchor Road has been granted planning permission to build a single-storey side and rear extension for her property.

Bishopstrow: A storm-damaged cedar tree is set to be taken down after an application by Mr Cadzow of Old Rectory in Church Lane was met with no objections.

Pinkney: Following a successful planning application by Moya O’Doherty of 2 Parsonage Cottages in Tetbury Road, rear extensions and extension to existing an outbuilding will be built at the property.

Holt: J and T Beaven of The Old Tannery Site, The Midlands have been granted planning permission for internal and external alterations to the Stove House; Midland House; Chamois Warehouse; and Leather Factory.

Chippenham: Tania and Gavin Daniels of 4 Gundry Close submitted a planning application to build a single-storey extension onto their home. The planning permission was granted.

Pewsey: A willow tree will soon be cut down after an application by Mr Gosling of Toad Hall in Woodborough was met with no objections.

Westbury: An application by Mr Reostall of 10 Wiltshire Way to convert his garage into a habitable room, a new first-floor extension over the garage and a single-storey lean-to read extension has been granted planning approval.

Keevil: Mr Andrew Wheeler and Ms Rebecca Devon of Pinkney House submitted an application for listed building consent to convert the existing playroom and outbuilding into ancillary accommodation. The application also requested permission for internal alterations to Pinkney House to create a new kitchen and utility room. The application was approved.

Minety: Mr Haines has been granted planning permission to build a replacement dwelling at Acres Farm.

Beanacre: Mr and Mrs Ware of Lower Beanacre Farm in Beanacre Road to demolish an existing porch and construct a replacement. Additionally, the plans also include permission for the installation of three new conservation roof lights.

Warminster: Mr Baber of 100 Portway has been granted planning permission to demolish an existing extension and conservatory at his property and construct a new single-storey rear extension.

Westbury: Plans were submitted by Mr Besley of 9 Leigh Road to construct a single-storey extension to the rear of his property, as well as garage development have been approved.

Lockeridge: Jennie Asherson-Taylor of 4 Old Meadow Cottages has been granted planning permission for a single-storey side extension.

Urchfont: Mr and Mrs S Weller of Sandalwood, Bowdens have been granted planning permission to build a single-storey rear extension, raise the garage roof, convert part to the kitchen area, replace the rear conservatory with a garden room and add a front dormer to replace the Velux.

Marlborough: A retrospective application for the creation of a pond for Great Crested Newts under the District Level Licensing Scheme, submitted by Mr Cameron of East Kennett Manor Farm has been approved.
