The pool of affordable homes for rent in Wiltshire grew slightly last year.
Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government data shows there were 31,071 social and affordable homes in Wiltshire in April last year – up 1.0 per cent from the the previous year.
In Wiltshire, 14 per cent of homes were social or affordable in 2019 – below the national average of 17 per cent.
This was larger than the rise across England as a whole, where the figure rose by just 0.4 per cent to 4.15m – an extra 17,000 homes.
