THE Concert at the Kings Rock Against Cancer charity concert in All Cannings has been postponed until 2021.

Organisers of the big name bash which has been held in a field behind the Kings Arms pub for years has been rescheduled to September 4 and 5 next year.

"Firstly, we’d like to say a big thank you to all of our loyal supporters for bearing with us in these uncertain times," said John 'Grubby' Callis.

"We wanted to keep the option of staging this year’s concerts open for as long as we possibly could and we were hoping circumstances might change.

"But based on government guidance, we’ve now bowed to the inevitable and are very sad to announce the postponement of the 2020 festival on 11th & 12th September as the health & safety of our artists, audience, staff and suppliers must come first."

The same line-up, including Billy Ocean, 10cc and Steve Harley are confirmed. along with some new names and special guests including The Strawbs.

"Any 2020 event tickets already bought will remain valid for 2021.

"We would greatly appreciate it if you are able to defer your booking to next Summer’s event as the rescheduled event will incur ongoing costs between now and next September."
