FLOWERS, animals and sunshine were the main entries for this month’s camera club competition, as we celebrated the season of spring.
Judged by the Journal’s editorial team, first place was awarded to Antonio Franchi for clever use of lighting, focal points and nature.
Andy Grant took second place with his picture of a bee, that he had just offered sugar water, for capturing a moment with both high definition and personality.
Finally third place was awarded to Julie Greenyer, for her heartwarming shot of a sheep and two lambs.
This month 35 pictures made it to the shortlist, making it difficult for the news team to declare a top three.
