HONDA has delayed restarting production at its Swindon plant by a week.
Work was due to resume at the South Marston factory on Monday but this has been pushed back to June 8.
A Honda spokesperson said: "Market conditions are under continual review, and production plans are scheduled to reflect sales forecasts.
"Following latest analysis, Honda will delay its production restart by one week, to week commencing June 8 2020.
"Honda has implemented significant, robust safety measures to ensure a Covid-safe site ahead of restarting production operations."
