Firefighter tackle blaze at Conscience Lane, Devizes
POLICE are hunting an arsonist who set alight a derelict shed at a former builder’s yard in Devizes.
Devizes police have now confirmed that the fire at Lawton’s Yard off Dyehouse Lane during the early hours of May 15 was deliberately lit.
A spokesman said: “Officers investigating an arson in Devizes are appealing for information. We’d like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, as well as anyone who has CCTV footage.”
Devizes fire crews were called to Roundway Hill on Sunday evening after a blaze started in woodland. Two appliances dealt with the incident.
