Warning from police after series of burglaries during weekend warm spell
Police have urged people to lock their doors during the hot spell after a series of burglaries.
Wiltshire Police took to social media to issue the warning.
The force tweeted: “We've had a small number of dwelling burglaries over the weekend where offenders have gained access through open windows or doors.
“Even in this warm weather, please remember to close and lock all doors and windows when you are not home.”
The warm weather is expected to continue this week, with the Met Office forecasting sun and highs of 22C until Saturday.
