Some of Watford FC’s most famous former players are set to lend their support to the town’s coronavirus appeal by appearing in an online quiz tonight.
Watford Mayor Peter Taylor has been hosting weekly Sunday quizzes alongside Luther Blissett to raise money for the Watford Covid-19 appeal fund.
The Hornets legend has called on some former clubmates who played in the 1984 FA Cup final to feature in tonight’s quiz.
Led by Wembley skipper Les Taylor, the mayor has revealed on social media that John Barnes, Kenny Jackett, Steve Sherwood and Neil Price are among those set to take part.
Delighted that @LBliss8 has got together some of the 1984 Golden Boys for tonight's Quiz, including @officialbarnesy, Captain Les Taylor, Steve Sherwood, Kenny Jackett and Neil Price.
