WHEN schoolboy Ethan Amor was set a school community project to do during lockdown he decided to go one better than most of his friends.
The eight-year-old came up with the idea of bringing cheer to the village of Woodborough, near Pewsey, where he lives by painting the family ponies Trigger and Gwen with thank you messages to the NHS.
His mum Carol said: “Ethan likes to be a bit different and he was sure that this would be a good thing to do for the community.”
“We managed to get some special animal paint and painted Thank You on the hind quarters of two of our ponies and NHS and Key Workers down their fronts.”
Ethan and his sister Gypsy, 17, joined by brother Adam, 12, and their mum on foot then walked around the village and many people came out to clap.
They also called in at Woodborough Primary School, where Ethan is usually a pupil, to see staff and children of key workers who are still having lessons. Mrs Amor said: “It was great fun.”
