A CORSHAM egg producer who has recently recovered from Covid-19 has donated more than 5,000 eggs to NHS staff.

Wiltshire Community Hospitals and Great Western Hospital in Swindon got the goods delivered in a converted horse box at Chippenham Community Hospital.

Staff were delighted, saying:

“Fresh eggs are like the crown jewels at the moment, so we couldn’t be happier."

Clarence Court owner and CEO Adrian Gott delivered the eggs to show his personal appreciation and gratitude.

“Having recovered from COVID-19 I know the effects of this virus first-hand. Although I was lucky not to be hospitalised, I have been humbled by the dedication and courage shown by these brave individuals."

“We hope our fabulous eggs will give all the staff a little energy boost to help them through these difficult times.”

Clarence Court supplies free range eggs to more than 500 restaurants and hotels.
