HUNDREDS more hospital patients in the UK who tested positive for Covid-19 have died.
Over the last 24 hours, 938 more fatalities have been recorded, bringing the UK total up to 7,097.
So far, 232,708 people have been tested and 60,734 people tested positive, with 19,438 people in hospital.
NHS England said that 838 people in the country aged between 22 and 103 years old had died since the last update, bringing the number of hospital deaths in England up to 6,483.
Out of the 828 patients, 46 of them - who were aged between 35 and 96 years old - had no known underlying health condition.
