MUM Kiara Lane and her young children have found creating artwork to brighten up the day of during lockdown is proving a big hit with neighbours.

Ms Lane, 27, of Abberd Way, Calne says her children Ruby, three, and Lewis, six, look forward to drawing everything from rainbows to Disney characters.

She said: “They love doling it and like it when people on their daily walks stop to look and they can wave.

“With Lewis I have turned the art into part of his home schooling. We look at U-tube videos to see how to create character such as as Minions and Mickey Mouse.”

The children also draw pictures for their great-grandparents and post them through their letter box.”

This weekend her children will be drawing and painting Easter eggs as part of trail organised by a Calne Facebook page.

The craze is also catching on in Devizes where the Facebook page Chase The Rainbow- Devizes has been set up. A different theme is chosen each week. Send your pictures to alison.phillips@wiltshire.newsquest.co.uk
