Drivers are being reminded about the restrictions on the recently reopened northbound exit slip road of the M32 at Junction 2.

Following the roads reopening after a damaging fire in February, only cars and motorcycles up to three tonnes can use the slip road.

All other vehicles should continue to use the official diversion via Junction 1 and the southbound Junction 2 slip road or take an alternate route.

Chris Regan, head of service delivery at Highways England said: “We’d like to thank drivers for their support, and must stress that only cars and motorcycles up to three tonnes in weight should use the slip road.

“By keeping lighter vehicles only on the road, we can ensure no further damage is done to it which would lengthen the repairs and cause further disruption to drivers.”
