MARLBOROUGH College has offered its medical facilities to the Kennet and Avon Medical Partnership.
The College’s paramedic team have redeployed their time to work for paramedic services in Wiltshire and beyond.
Other members of the medical centre team are working in urgent care at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon and with the Ambulance Service.
Marlborough College also offered its boarding facilities to hospital key workers, but it is considered not situated close enough to Great Western Hospital for that to be practical.
Dr Jenny Campbell, from the partnership said:
“The College were in touch quickly offering any assistance. We agreed that the best way to help would be to distribute the College’s medical equipment to colleagues on the ambulance service and to send the oxygen tanks to George Lane Surgery”.
