A WALK for a Wiltshire Charity is coming to Royal Wootton Bassett.

Alzheimer's Support is celebrating its 30th anniversary and bringing A Walk to Remember to the town.

Its CEO Babs Harris said: "We started A Walk to Remember in 2015 and are delighted to bring it to the north of the county for the first time. The route around the lake is easy and accessible and one that families will love."

It's a one mile walk on May 16 which will start at the Royal Wootton Bassett Rugby Club at Malmesbury Road then round the Jubilee Lake.

Once they've finished they will get to enjoy some tea and cakes.

The charity helps more than 2,000 people with the condition by providing specialist dementia advisers and practical services.

Babs said: "Taking part in our sponsored Walk to Remember is a fantastic opportunity to help support people living with dementia right here in Wiltshire and we look forward to seeing as many walkers in Royal Wootton Bassett as possible."
