A PUBLIC exhibition is being held in Hilperton on Wednesday (March 4) to show plans for a massive new housing development.
Barratt Homes wants to build around 200 homes on land on the Trowbridge side of Elizabeth Way in an area known as The Gap.
The meeting from 3.30pm to 7pm at Hilperton Village Hall will enable residents to quiz their local parish and Wiltshire councillors and comment on the scheme.
Local councillor Ernie Clark said: "The exhibition will be held for comments on the Barratt Developments plan to build on the 'Trowbridge' side of The Gap on the part that is currently ploughed and farmed.
"It is open for everyone to attend.
"Hopefully, everyone will highlight to Barratt that policy 1, sections ‘e’ to ‘h’ (especially section ‘g’) shown in the Neighbourhood Plan will be adhered to."
