A VEHICLE stolen from Lincoln Green was set alight and found near Bowmans Court, Melksham, at 2.03am on Thursday. A man was arrested on suspicion of theft of motor vehicle and arson.
Glass smashed
OVERNIGHT on Friday a yob smashed a pane of glass to a property on the High Street, Melksham.
Tyre slashed
A TYRE was punctured on a vehicle parked in Kelly Close, Melksham, between February 14 and 18.
Window broken
THE front passenger side window of a vehicle parked in Fullers Close, Melksham, was smashed overnight on Sunday. No entry was gained and nothing stolen.
Vehicle scratched
OVERNIGHT on Saturday a yob scratched a vehicle parked in Bath Road, Melksham, on Sunday.
Mirror damaged
A YOB used a stick to smash the wing mirror of a vehicle parked in Belvedere Road, Melksham, while walking past at around 3.30pm on Sunday February 23.
Burglary attempt
A WOULD-be burglar bent back the front door handle to a property in Loxley Close, Melksham, at 10.54pm on February 18 in an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry. There was no further damage and nothing stolen.
Plates nicked
THE front and rear registration plates were stolen from a vehicle parked in the Market Place car park in Melksham overnight on February 18.
Chimney fire
FIRE crews in Warminster attended a chimney fire in Bishopstrow, Warminster at 6.50pm on Thursday . They used chimney rods, a brush and a thermal imaging camera and gave advice to get the chimney brushed.
Trespassers
COMMUNITY police officers in Trowbridge want to hear from anyone who sees trespassers in properties that are empty or boarded up.
