THERE were smiles all round as South Cerney residents lined up to take part in the annual pancake races on Shrove Tuesday in the village.
A mixture of pre-school, primary school children and mums and dads enjoyed the races, which took part as usual down Church Lane.
Paul Nicholls was on hand to capture the action.
