I have travelled several times from Gloucestershire to Wiltshire. There is a remarkable difference in the road surfaces of both counties.
In Wiltshire, on average, the roads have a smooth surface and very few potholes. Whereas in Gloucestershire most roads seem ‘‘blessed’’ with potholes, often on road-edges but mostly in central parts.
I wonder how Gloucestershire County Council feels about this, and how can they amount for the differences between the counties. Perhaps finances are a problem!
