DEVIZES Fairtrade Group is gearing up to spread the word about ethical shopping as part of a special fortnight that runs from February 24 to March 8.

People will have the chance to understand the meaning of different labels on products when an Ethical Shopping meeting is held in the Town Hall at 7.30pm.

Co-ordinator Antonia Tolhurst said: “People will also be able to find out about the impact of shopping habits on the environment and the livelihoods of the producers.”

The group is also supporting the She Deserves A Living Income campaign to help women working on cocoa farms who earn 75p a day.
