A TREE has fallen on top of a car on Hyde Hill in Chalford.
The vehicle was hit by the falling tree at 7.30pm. The driver was not injured in the incident.
She said: "I was incredibly lucky.
"Two foot either way it could have been a completely different story, as there is half a tree on the bonnet and half a tree on the boot.
"The only warning was the person in front of me not moving and reversing and behaving weirdly so I stopped, and then bang, tree on the roof."
Police have temporarily closed the road.
