A DRIVER who tried to mess with police by giving false information when he was stopped in Devizes got more than he bargained for.
The 28-year-old man was not only arrested after found to have no insurance and was obstructing police he had his vehicle seized as well.
A police spokesman said: “ A vehicle was stopped by officers on New Park Street on February 7 when the driver gave false details.
“The 28 year old male from Pinehurst, Swindon was arrested for obstructing police, fraud, no license and no insurance.
“His vehicle was subsequently seized.”
