A MAN in his 20s was taken to hospital last night after a collision on the A350 at Kington Langley near Chippenham.
The road was closed for around four hours as emergency services dealt with the incident in which a pedestrian was thought to be seriously injured.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance but was later assessed as having minor injuries.
The road was closed for four hours and reopened at around midnight. Police later thanked the public for their patience.
Police, fire and paramedics attended the accident, which happened in the evening. The northbound carriageway was closed towards Junction 17 with the M4.
Officers had advised people to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
