A KOSOVAN man arrested after the regional organised crime unit raided restaurants in Dorset and Wiltshire has been released under investigation, police said.
The 46-year-old man, who was living in Trowbridge, was arrested on suspicion of money laundering offences at a business in Shaftesbury.
Detectives raided restaurants in the Dorset town and in Marlborough last Thursday as part of an ongoing investigation into money laundering.
A spokeswoman for the south west regional organised crime unit said: “Documents were seized from both restaurants.”
Nobody was arrested at the Marlborough business. Police wold not confirm which businesses were raided by the plain-clothes officers.
The officers raided the two restaurants at 11am and could still be seen at the premises several hours later.
