THESE are the dramatic pictures from Marlborough this morning after a car ended up on its side in Figgins Lane.
Jo Turchet who took the pictures said: "Ambulance, fire brigade and helicopter here. Rescue is in operation and High Street is closed."
The main road through Marlborough was closed about an hour ago after a serious accident in the town centre.
A car overturned and the air ambulance landed nearby.
A police spokesman said: "We are currently dealing with a serious road traffic collision in Figgins Lane, Marlborough.
"We have closed the road and would ask people to avoid the area."
The spokesman later added: "We were called at 8.45am this morning to a serious road traffic collision in Figgins Lane, Marlborough.
"It involved a single vehicle which had overturned.
"Police, fire and ambulance are at the scene and the road is expected to remain closed for some time."
